CHRPLT - Blood & Snow
Summary
Section titled “Summary”- Lady Snowblood’s story
- She seeks to follow through with her mother’s revenge plot and kill the three men named on the paper.
- Through this process; or from it’s consequences - she will come to appreciate her Snowblood traits and accept herself for who she is.
- Baiulus Bellum has turned over a new leaf and is doing what he can to repent for his sins; the burden of war too great for his conscience.
- Aegrus Aggredior is a diseased and cursed man after Vindicta Snowblood’s dying wish caused him to decay at an exponentially fast rate. He suffers daily now and is enslaved to Serpens to ensure his lifeline.
- Aims to provide Lady some reference for what a curse truly is and potentially causes her to look at her own features/fate in a different; more positive, light.
- Also offers Lady a perspective on mercy; is letting him live; suffer, the more vengeful thing to do OR is killing him the right way to avenge her Mother’s death.
- Serpens Cupiditas is in a powerful position; using the lack of Snowblood opposition to sneak into positions of powers. He is blinded by his own ambition and will one day be betrayed by Thelnyron Dose the way that he betrayed Ignis Snowblood.
- If Lady learns of Thelnyron Dose’s influence/plans before she encounters Serpens Cupiditas - she has to make a choice between personal vengeance and stopping the true culprit of this grand plot.
- Is the irony of Serpens being betrayed valuable to Lady OR does she want to be the one to cut him down?

Threads
Section titled “Threads”Hunted
Section titled “Hunted”Lady’s existence, having used her powers in a public display and the words of townsfolk spreading, has made it’s way to Aegrus Aggredior.
He’s paid a handful of lost members of The Snatchers to capture her, or at least provide information on her powers - planning to send a strike force to intercept them on the way to Roan.
Character Implications
Section titled “Character Implications”Meeting the ‘Burden of War’
Section titled “Meeting the ‘Burden of War’”Baiulus Bellum left Caritas after killing Vindicta Snowblood. The burden of being Serpens Cupiditas lapdog; killing at the beck-and-call of a greedy madman, finally broke him and he resigned himself to a quiet life in the mountains. He adopted a pair of lost Wolf cubs, and lived in a small shack to the North. He’ll also be caring for a pair of orphaned twins who are 13 years old.
He’s even prepared a funeral pyre for Vindicta Snowblood that has been unlit for years - waiting for Lady to light it with her powers.
Lady will have to choose between her vindication or accepting the ideals of forgiveness. This will be different if she’s already met and killed Aegrus Aggredior.
Sickness and Servitude
Section titled “Sickness and Servitude”Aegrus Aggredior has become sickly and plagued since the death of Vindicta Snowblood; something he blames her for more each day. Necromancy; provided by Delyson Thorne, has been the only thing keeping him alive.
He was truly loyal to Serpens Cupiditas originally but now operates entirely out of fear that he’ll lose his lifeline. He has frequent nightmares of a ghoulish woman awaiting him when death comes for him.
He’s employed by Thelnyron Dose as part of a taskforce by Dannick Vaena to ensure evidence of Terick II’s murder is destroyed. This could branch into or from Morgyn’s storyline.
- Resistant to all elemental damage except Radiant damage.
- Immune to damage by all non-magical weapons.
Blinded By Ambition
Section titled “Blinded By Ambition”Serpens grew up with Vindicta Snowblood as their families were close. They were always friendly but drifted apart in their adult years; especially after she met Ignis Snowblood for the first time. This drove Serpens mad as he had for many years held romantic feelings for Vindicta Snowblood.
Serpens Cupiditas has infiltrated the leadership of Stahn and is ready to stage a coup to seize the nation under his control. However, he has become blinded by his power and is unable to see the greater threats that he’s being manipulated by.
Vindication
Section titled “Vindication”Vindicta Snowblood will get her revenge for Serpens’ betrayal of herself and her husband. Unbeknownst to even the Salvator Family; Serpens and Vindicta Snowblood were childhood friends whose families got along well. They grew distant in their adult years after she met Ignis Snowblood for the first time.
The Truth
Section titled “The Truth”In the final years of The Cataclysm, there was a mortal woman who had trained to wield the natural elements and used her powers to protect a village from a group of fighters who worshipped Sabymir, The Spur of Chaos. She was strong enough to push them back towards the lower half of the country. Her strength inspired many to challenge her but none succeeded - and even fewer had the restraint she did.
One challenger; a man who had truly pushed the woman’s limits as a fighter, was struggling to cope with his defeat and sought the power of the cult she’d once pushed away. He became a revered figure amongst their lands through amoral methods, garnered a strength that enhanced his vitality and strength. This was the foundation of the Path Of The Heavenly Demon cult.
