The Fate-Cloaked Maiden
Summary
Section titled βSummaryβThe Fate-Cloaked Maiden is the mysteriously named God of Death and is a member of the Archon. She commands the domains over Fate, Death, and the Season of Winter. She now resides within her domain located in the Shadowfell.
Stories from the end of The Arcanic Age are told that say she was a Mortal; a talented Mage, who ascended to Godhood. No Mage has successfully completed this ritual since - though many have tried.
Whilst the true identity of The Fate-Cloaked Maiden has been lost - it is unclear to scholars whether that is part of her ascension or due to The Cataclysm that occurred shortly afterwards. Historical records from The Settlement era do detail the Original God Of Death existence but it is also unclear what happened to them.
- Grieve the dead, revel in their existence. Do not pity them for reaching their natural end.
- Perversions of death are an act that death is too kind a punishment for; extinguish those who would twist the transition of a soul for their own purposes.
- Those who interfere with fate are to be punished for stepping off the path set forwards for them.
