As he began to run out of places to hide - fearing for his own safety - he came cross and made a pact with 3 strange mages bordering on the edge of Archdom. Together, they created The Shifting Shades -granting the Arcanist Arboreal protection from those who might seek revenge , and giving the 3 mages a chance to carve out a realm for themselves without interference.
- These 3 mages became Archfey shortly after and took on the identities of PIERCE, ALLEN, and GARNETT.
