Mathias was a Human employee of The Rowdy Roan that was captured during the first week of Vaelorn, 920 PD. He was subject to torturous experiments by the Monarch Of Madness and transformed into a Drow with a cruel demeanour. He was given the new identity of Cain Blight and he now works as a bodyguard and assassin for the Monarch Of Madness.

As Cain Blight he had a sister named Eden Blight - who was also a captured employee of The Rowdy Roan and transformed by the Monarch Of Madness’ experiments.
