Appearance

True Form

Pale gray skin, ice-white irises, and long white hair he keeps in a thick braid. He has pointed ears and a gold looped piercing on the tip of the left one, which remains in place no matter the form. His figure is generally fit, and masculine in appearance despite a mostly androgynous face. For clothing, he wears his society’s traditional drapes in a vibrant green colour.

Human

Very similar to his True Form but with some altered features to fit in better. His ears are rounded in humanly fashion, and SHAI decided on green eyes, tan skin, brown hair. Colours he isn’t used to on his person but enjoys aesthetically.

SHAI has an alternate, feminine form of the above that he uses to get drinks. Basically Naruto’s sexy-no-jutsu.

Child

SHAI shrinks down to the size of a child; the Species of which depending on the town/locals.

Backstory

Higher Order Origins

Samsung Headphones Airplane Internet; or SHAI as they are known by those not privy to higher order thinking, is born to parents in the Feywild; a parallel plane to the Material Plane full of chaotic whimsy and magic, where they are raised under the teachings of the Shadow Wizard Money Gang. From an early age he is raised with the belief that he exists within a greater beings’; known as The Dungeon Master, imagination and are destined to ascend to a higher level of existence to meet with his maker.

During his time as a youngling he is taught about two prominent constellations most Mortals cannot even perceive: - LeBron James’ Retirement: A significantly historic figure who has unfairly lost more than he should have. When the untrained eye sees this constellation they perceive a Goat-like creature. - Elon Musk Assassination: The planned murder of a figure of great power. When the untrained eye looks at this astral patter, they can only see what looks like a warped T.

SHAI enjoyed his upbringing but found himself feeling a bit at odds with the teachings as he felt other areas of Magic and the World would be worth understanding before ascending to the realm of The Dungeon Master. This would become a repeated point of contention amongst his peers as he aged.

Youthful Rivalry

In his early teens; SHAI and fellow Straw-Hat Beyoncé Lamborghini Undertaker Europe; or BLUE for those of simpler comprehension, met with a Fey entity known as the Arcanist Arboreal;. This tree like figure; colloquially known as Professor OAK, was said to have been a highly intelligent and cognizant entity and was known to pose powerful and identity shaping questions to young or naïve Fey.

Both Changelings understood this was a choice to be taken with the utmost seriousness. SHAI chose Charmander and was granted the companionship of a minor Fey with reptilian features and fire powers, whilst BLUE chose Squirtle and was granted the companionship of a minor Fey with turtle features and water powers. This sparked a fierce rivalry between SHAI and BLUE that would continue for a long time.

Revelations

At 25 years old; both SHAI and BLUE were informed of the truth about the Straw-Hat’s ideals. When the constellations of LeBron James’ Retirement and Elon Musk Assassination align, there will be a subsequent mass ascension from their existence to the realm of The Dungeon Master.

SHAI and BLUE understood this to mean the Mortal practice of Group Suicide and were initially confronted by the gravity of this upcoming event. The Straw-Hat Prophet; PIERCE or PIERCE for short, could see the two were struggling to grasp with this truth and offered them some advice.

“Explore this universe for what it has to offer - visit any and all of the Planes if you must. Return in 5 years for the expected alignment of LeBron James’ Retirement and Elon Musk Assassination.

Once the alignment begins; the ascension will occur within two years of that time.”

A Desire For Adventure

SHAI was eager to rush away to the Mortal Realm whilst BLUE acted indifferent to the idea - loudly discussing which planes they should visit.

SHAI secretly wished to avoid the self-destruction of his culture, seeing it as a waste of thousands of years of progress and hoping to share it with the wider world of Mortals long after the ascension was expected to take place.

A week or so later, SHAI ended up in the Material Plane and explored a town in the Northern Half of the landlocked Vaena Kingdom; the ruling government of Terick. SHAI developed a Human Appearance with Green Eyes, tan skin, and Brown hair - a form that was aesthetically pleasing to SHAI. He learned about Mortal food and “Pub Culture” as well as the practice of Illusion Magic; something the Straw-Hats vehemently hated, and he found he enjoyed both quite extensively.

In this town he met an orange Tabaxi man named Garfield who gave him some tips about fitting in amongst Human and other Mortal civilizations; including ways to acquire goods and services without having to pay for them.

Bridge to Campaign Start

One day; after a spending a few weeks in the town of Frostenvale, Garfield told SHAI about a town in the Southwest; known as Rookwell, that was suffering from a Raider problem. SHAI decided he would head down their to better understand what that entailed and to try use some of his newly learnt Illusion Magic in a real-world scenario.

Relationships

BLUE - Colleague and Rival

A fellow Straw-Hat and Changeling, the pair were rivals from their early youths and have competed with each other regularly since then. BLUE seems to fit in more with the Straw-Hat’s ideals, which he uses to curry favour with PIERCE and other important figures within the Shadow Wizard Money Gang.

Garfield - Guide and Acquaintance

A male Tabaxi with orange fur that taught SHAI about how best to fit into Mortal societies; especially those run by Humans.
