Gyi'Gantos
Summary
Section titled “Summary”Gyi’Gantos (GHEE-GANTT-OSS) are large, Humanoid Fey that share a lot with Goliaths. They are taller and lither on average, and have uniquely pointed ears and symbols on their skin.
They were once numerous amongst the hills and caverns of Mystveil Mountains - but have since vanished without a trace in recent generations. They had a shared history with the Terralpi of old - but many alive today only know of them through vague history lessons. They often kept to themselves and as such - few outside of Terralpi can even recognize a Gyi’Gantos from a Goliath.
There are rumours of a Gyi’Gantos male roaming the Feywild in search of something - but none have ever substantiated in more than apologies and confused recollection.
Disappearance
Section titled “Disappearance”- several separate cases of Gyi’Gantos going missing were reported to leadership
- the leadership; fearing a coup by one of the courts, entrusted Mystveil Mountains to the Terralpi people and fled into The Shifting Shades on the guidance of a wise elder.
- they built an underground haven with the shades before disappearances started happening again, more frequently.
- their villages were attacked in the night by a serpentine creature of great speed and strength. It reminded the elder of a story from The Fracture in the material plane.
- Oden Oathkeeper, on the advice of the wise elder, headed to the material plane for a relic that could quell the beast,
