Archmaiden
Summary
Section titled “Summary”Archmaidens are individuals recognized for the devout followings of The Fate-Cloaked Maiden. They are authorized and encouraged to start their own churches to spread her scripture throughout Vaelorys - as well tending to the funeral rites of any who might’ve passed silently otherwise.
High Archmaiden
Section titled “High Archmaiden”An individual selected to oversee the operations of Cariosus Sanctimonia; The Fate-Cloaked Maiden’s church in the city of Lex’Emplitus on Vylderica. They serve for life and are responsible for recognizing and preparing their successor. There has been one time in recorded history where The Fate-Cloaked Maiden herself supposedly overruled the choice of successor - but the details of that have been lost to time.
Handmaiden
Section titled “Handmaiden”Those who either are yet to be recognized for their devotion to The Maiden, or have failed to complete the training required to become an Archmaiden are considered Handmaidenss. They assist with day-to-day functions of running the church under the direction of one or more [Archmaiden].

Trivia
Section titled “Trivia”- “maiden” is a gender-neutral term within this context. Due to the history of Vaelorys - a “maiden” can be used to describe anyone who follows the will of The Fate-Cloaked Maiden as well as a young woman.
