Koiyl, The Spiteful Serpent

Koiyl, The Spiteful Serpent (COY-ILL) is the God of spite, grief, and revenge. They are known for holding grudges and acting in a manner that causes the object of their grudges the most strife; even if detrimental to their own desires. They are commonly depicted with an androgynous serpentine form; sometimes with a vaguely humanoid face and long curtains of ink black hair. They are often described in scriptures as vague, confusing, chaotic, and maligning.

Their follower are various members of Snake-kind; most notably the Yuan-Ti species. Their followers are regularly people of unsound mind or those struggling with loss, or seeking revenge.

  • Spite is your poison. Bear your fangs and administer a lethal dose to all who have wronged you.
  • Let the lust for revenge coarse through every facet of your being; guiding each and every action you take.
  • Grief is the natural justification for all that is deemed immoral. Weaponize it to achieve your true justice.
